It was a night to remember Saturday July 8, at Miami Swim Week. Fashion designer and sustainable activist Liliana Montoya presented her Lotus Amazonas swimwear collection. The models effortlessly strutted down the catwalk wearing her tropical, floral and animal print designs. It was like a trip into a rain forest filled with fashionable design style that takes its cue from the natural world. Her swimwear designs gave a feeling focused on comfort, relaxation, and resort-like luxury.

Liliana started her company back in 2006, she is a multi talented Latina woman, who is a designer, CEO, producer and a mom! Her brand represents embracing your ancestral roots, being confident, spreading love, and living your life spiritually at peace with your mind, body, soul and environment. Liliana's ethnicity plays a big role in her new collection. “Latin culture is reflected in bikinis, cover ups, and dresses with their hand embroidered appliqués and ancestral weaves such as crochet & macrame.” Since Liliana is a sustainable activist, her new lotus collection was curated with the purpose of generating solutions by creating products made from recycled PET bottles. There’s so much diversity with her brand, and she has a piece made for almost anyone. She had models of all skin tones, body types, even children!
